An intense, structured red, with a good persistence in the mouth and a high alcohol content. The bouquet is complex and elegant and reveals a strong personality. It should be served in a glass for full-bodied reds. Tasting temperature: 18-20 °C.

On the palate it is dry, smooth and decisive, with character. Intense taste, to be savoured. When tasted it is sapid, juicy and with very balanced tannins.
It goes very well with pastas dressed with meat sauces and with roasted red meat. Suitable to accompany small game, pork and mature cheeses.
Slightly herbaceous bouquet with hints of raspberry when young, vinous, with hints of underbrush and cherry fruit. With ageing it becomes refined, polished, acquiring notes of violet, oriental spices, black pepper, cocoa and tobacco.
Bright ruby red with purple reflections.
